The skills that pay my bills…
Web
Single-page landing to 15+ pages, I’ve completed a wide range of websites for clients in various industries. In the case of fully custom builds, I’ve designed low and high fidelity visuals and handed off successfully to development teams. In the case of a quick, easily managed build, I’ve designed and constructed sites in Squarespace, Wordpress, and Wix.

A print shop internship and 6+ years working for an agency has given me a lot of experience designing print ready collateral for professional production presses. Business cards, door hangers, direct mail pieces, trade-show environments and more.

Product
Designing digital products like apps and dashboard experiences is an exciting realm in UI (user interface) design. I’ve worked on projects requiring custom component design as well as concepts built utilizing existing standards like Google’s Material UI.

Illustration
Sometimes a project calls for ultra creative visual design, something truly custom to communicate a brand’s personality. A love for art and drawing originally sparked my interest in becoming a designer, so I’m always happy to pick up a pencil (or Apple Pencil) and let the creativity flow!

Social Media
There seems to be two types of people in this world: those who enjoy social media curation and management, and those who would rather go in for a root canal. Luckily I am the first type, and love assisting those who are not! I’ve handled the full process for my clients: graphics creation, content copywriting, scheduling, and ad management via Facebook Ad Manager.

HTML & CSS
Development partners hand-in-hand with design, particularly the font-end. For a designer, HTML and CSS knowledge helps keep functionality in our minds, rather than only thinking about visual form. I may not be a full blown unicorn* but I prioritize increasing my dev knowledge in order to better partner with my engineer teammates.
